HEALTHY CHOICES THROUGH BASKETBALL CLINIC AND FAIR
The purpose of the event is to provide a fun, safe, and educational environment for basketball instruction in order to teach decision-making and life skills to the youth by communicating the positive messages of health/ wellness, nutrition and strength through athletics. The Fair component of the event provides the parents and caregivers of youth participants with an opportunity to learn more about the social services available to them through various community based non-profit organizations. The non-profits involved are committed to assisting members of the Harlem & Washington Heights community and provide FREE Blood Pressure Screenings, FREE Cholesterol Screenings, FREE HIV/Aids Exams, & FREE Prostate Exams at our "Healthy Choices Through Basketball Youth Clinic & Fair".
